crazy tuesday

This is spring break week in our house, and I have 3 sick kids, and a husband who is hurt.... now I tell ya, I am not one to complain... so!!  While they are all recuperating I hid out by my quilting machine and Had fun!!!  Tee Hee - finished a clients' quilt, and 2 table runners, and then got started on my next string bin....  ( this is pile project progress!)

We were hoping to get to the zoo, and the mountains and some fun day trips, but instead I am flooding them with Tang and Soup, and hoping that they heal FAST!!

Two of my kiddos and I had to go to Denver last week, and so we did a quick check of the zoo - made sure it was still there... and made plans to bring older brother back.....

Little bit thought it might be fun to be a pioneer, but when he got in the wagon he realized there wasn't much room, and changed his mind.

The geese were fearless - I on the other hand - feared them... kept backing up and he kept following!!! I don't think he knew the term *personal space*

It was 70 degrees that day - the bear was enjoying the sun and napping!

My Monkeys - or gorillas...

This was our favorite - this goose just stood there on the lamp post and honked at people as they went by....I made sure not to get to close as he was in a good *bombing* position!!

If you are on Spring Break - hope you are all healthy!!!

I've never seen a goose on top of anything before - very interesting.

Fun photos! Sorry to hear your loved ones are under the weather. Healing prayers headed your way. Sounds like the fabric is flying!

Wow, look at the patina on that gorilla! People have rubbed it all off down to bare metal. Kewl.
