Stars, scrappy stars Sawtooth star and the Ohio Star are also a favorite and a ''go to'' quilt block .
Isn't it nice to clean out and give some fabric to someone to turn it into something!
My Go-To block is Happy Blocks! They sew up quick and make a lovely warm hug for the recipient.

Disappearing 4-patch is my go-to for kids quilts. Very lovely results. I love using Kona Snow for the background.
Oh!to choose just one! I love to sew but not an adventurous one so I must first say block in a block, nine patch, something simple. thanks for sharing.

I just made a scrappy Dutch Rose Quilt, liked the block so much I made an 8 x 8 ft barn quilt block for the big barn.

Lately, I've been making four patches, churn dashes and string blocks. My favorite is a star block. . . .any kind of star. . .crazy huh? All those points to potentially cut off. . . . and yet, I persist! LOL Thanks for offering the giveaway.

My favorite quilt block is the Churn Dash - what do some people call it??? A monkey's wrench. I think there must be multiple names for the same block.
