Quilters Accountability Week 8

Not only is it another week, it is the end of the month. Oh boy!
`
One of my goals was to quilt 5 Quilts of Valor - sadly - I only finished 4. I blame the short month ( does that work?)
`
The one in the top corner is another version of the Not so Top Secret Project Quilt pattern.
`
Next I have one made by Willa ( of the Livermore Quilters) with lots of Planets and space themed fabrics. I really liked it. The colors are very rich!
`
`
And the last QOV I got quilted was from Candy in NY. I think it was a mystery quilt from the QOV quilt Mystery Yahoo group. The lady that runs that chat group really makes some nice quilt patterns

`
Another goal was to work on my string bins 15 minutes a day. I must admit - I cheated - I got all my time in, it just happened on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. But I will take it!!
`
I also had some beautiful customer quilts this month. One of them was a king size quilt, and I forgot how much *more* time a King Custom quilt takes, versus a lap sized Quilt of Valor!
`
This is just a small section of another custom quilt that I finished in February. I hope that she enters it in a lot of quilt shows. The quilt itself is very pretty.

`
We also had a lot of swimming this last week, my oldest made it to the state meet and so we headed to Denver to let him compete. There were 14 bazillion swimmers and their parents all crammed into a complex not built for that many swimmers. They facility ran 2 10 lane pools at the same time... it was slightly chaotic, but I was able to figure out how to find my kid. Next time I am tying a hot pink bow on him!!!
`
We came home from the swim meet, I dropped the family off, and headed over to my binding buddies. Bless their hearts - they had bound EVERY quilt that was quilted, so I got to sew blocks together. It was wonderful!

Better yet, have him wear a bright pink swim cap, or dye his hair bright green! Easier to see than a bow and more manly too. And one day he will outgrow it.

Ohhh, the bright pink swim cap! How CRUEL! LOL.....Go for the bright green hair - it fits with March and St. Pat's day.

Love that blue and white quilt, Alycia, the quilting is gorgeous! I also love that mystery QOV. Cool pattern! (I will not go there...I don't have TIME for anything else!)

I think four QOV quilted this month is very much acceptable. It was a short month and I am sure you didn't take that into account when you decided to do five!

Looks great!
