If you remember ( as I know you have my blog memorized 😂😂
In September my Quilt of Valor group had a Jelly Roll Race day - and we had a blast!!
At our last day a lot of us brought back those Jelly Roll quilts. Most were tops - but I think Three were completely quilted, and one of our other quilters too some home to quilt - so YAY!!
I think this is 15 of the 22 that were made? I know a few were on quilting machines - but isn't this so cool!!!
We sued Orphan Star blocks, and Deb used some of her own orphan blocks - and Karen made some cool ones to intersperse in her quilt.. and Vickie added an eagle - they are soo SO cool!!!

You ladies all did so good! I like that they were able to use up some orphan blocks in the process.
Just beautiful to see all of the quilts!!!!
That is a great idea for QOV! So pretty!
They are all looking so good and that's awesome that so many are already finished!
What a great array!
They’re gorgeous! The Laramie senior center is awarding five QOV next Friday. It’s a first for the center, but I hope it becomes an annual event.
Woo hooo, more quilts for more veterans, how wonderful!

Wow, that's a lot of jelly rolls!!
2 ladies at my last retreat were making jelly roll quilts. It would be cool for a whole group all doing the jelly roll race. I have a bag of strips and itching to do a jelly roll quilt now.
Look at all those Jelly Roll quilts! That is so exciting and heartwarming.
LOVE the fun additions to the "traditional" race quilts!!
Very fun and "racy" quilts. The additions of stars, eagles, etc, really adds to the look.
Nice work everyone!
Wonderful QOVs and Great Inspiration. Thanks for sharing!!
Love the variety of quilts. Do they stay in your area or go to the regional coordinator for the 100 quilts be January? Either way that's terrific! Laurie
