Log Cabins and!!! Finished ( or not) Friday!!!

Happy Friday!!!

I hope your week was amazing and filled with goodness!!

I am going to try a little something different today.... You may know that I have done a lot of photography in the past, and I always like to have props... Which gave me an excuse to buy some *prop* quilts.

They are just cool for backdrops, or blocking out a bad background....

Anyways this is one that I bought for backdrops and I used it for headshots... But check it out:

it measures 70 x 70 inches (ish)
It is machine quilted - they stitched in the ditch along each log, and in the borders did a meander

I am not a quilt historian so I am not sure the date on these fabrics - but I have had the quilt about 15 years.

The back is a Grey color
and a close up of the blocks

Here is the deal - This quilt is in great shape, I don't see any stains, tears or rips - but ... it is time for it to go to a new home....

This is where you come in... Make me an Offer. Make sure you know that shipping will be added to your offer. I use UPS where available as that is the least expensive option from my town. And I can only ship to the Continental US.

If you are interested - email me at AlyciaQuilts @ Gmail . Com

And now it is your turn to brag:

it is time for FINISHED!!! OR NOT!!! Friday  ( I said that in my head like the old Lost in space movie!)

What a fun layout for a log cabin. I bet it will find the perfect new home.

Nice log cabin quilt! I would guess from the dusty rose and light blues that it dates to the early 1990s. Good luck with your sale!

That is a gorgeous quilt but sadly, not for me. Thank you for sharing however. I am sure someone special will step up. I never tire of log cabin quilts...the variations...the scrappiness. Just so classic and beautiful.
