Chevron Design Wall

I might have gone "Radio Silent" for a few days - and I LOVED it!!! There was No Service.... No Cell, No Texts, very Very Very limited Wi fi....

Of course, I hit the cell zone on the way back and boy did the phone start dinging... that was hilarious... I wasn't sure what to answer first... Texts, Calls, or Email.....

So.... I got a lot done.... and here is one of the projects I started...

It is those Chevron Blocks - that are the Tutorial from MSQC .... Here

Nice chevron blocks. Are you keeping mostly black and tan or are you adding more color? I like the splash of red. It really pops.

Just curious, do you square up each half square triange? That's the worst part for me.

Nicely done!

Love this layout and the pop of red.

That red just pops with those neutrals. I like your layout - how big are you making this? I bet it was fun to have a 'no service' zone for a while. :) Thanks for linking up to Main Crush Monday!

That is very funny about all the cell phones dinging when you got back into civilization.
It's going to be a very cool chevron quilt Alycia!

I like that color palette in your new project. Isn't it amazing how much you can get done when you are "unconnected"?
