Flag Block - Revisited

Thought I would do a little Revisit Post today - Back in 2010 I designed this little block for all of my smaller scraps .... I made another quilt from the blocks .

Here is the original Post with the pattern and the Block

Free Flag Block Pattern

For one 9 inch block you need:

1 - 3 1/2 by 4 inch Blue Square
2 - 1 1/2 by 9 inch Red Strips
2 - 1 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch Red Strips
2 - 1 1/2 by 9 inch White Strips
1 - 1 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch White Strip
1 - 2 inch by 9 inch White Strip ( this is the very bottom strip)

AND!!!  HEre is the Quilt!

Isn't that just a fun way to use strips and squares ?

Did you know that Flag Day is June 14th?

Feel free to use and share this pattern ;-)

Alycia! this is such a cute block, what a great way to use up red, white and blue scraps. And the finished quilt makes a great Quilt of Valor. Thanks so much for sharing your idea.
