Scrappy Saturday

I headed out to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival yesterday for a few hours - what fun! And great inspiration.  I picked up a new ruler and came home and started playing in my scraps to see what I could create....

And I am still trying to find the lime green for RSC... I made be out of luck this month - but I'll find something.

Anyways - got home and took a kids to practice, then dug in the scraps and here is what I started with:

Then I went and picked up the kids from practice - and got soaked as a little rain storm came in. Then I kept working......

And then I stopped to feed the kids - dang! how they get hungry!!  And this is what I ended up with for the evening. Of course I am not sure if a dent was made in my scraps - but that was fun!

I thought I would just make sure you could see the last two photos in the bucking series... didn't want to leave you hanging!

That is just not a great way to end your ride is it?  But what a trooper!!

Very fun play session, love the end product.

I didn't think those photos would end well. Great action shots by the way!

What a fun flower. Looks like a design wall was really handy for getting everything in the right spot on this one.

Alycia, that's a really cute hexie flower! I love the glimpse of how often you had to start and stop.
Wow! It's a good thing that dirt isn't hard packed!
