The challenge is the repairing and the quilting. Sometimes she thinks she should hand quilt them all, and then she realizes that with the number she has.... she will never travel again if she sits down to hand quilt.
She chose this one to be machine quilted. We decided that we really want simple quilting, that wouldn't take away from the "antique-ness" of it, but would really keep all the seams together. She fixed all the seams on the 9 patches so there weren't any holes..
You might notice some of the 9 patches are wonky - but that is what makes it that much more loveable!!
And the back:
Enjoy!!

I love this! I have quilted one vintage top on my long arm and have others to do. Love your quilting on this, really suits the top!
I love that you quilt stars .. when I tried, mine didn't come out so nice :(
What a wonderful quilt. If I had seen this top, I think I would have brought it home and finished it up too. I like how you quilted those nine patches.
The stars are a lovely choice of quilting. Updated antique. Great job.
Love the quiting on this lovely 9-patch quilt!
So beautiful! I love the wonky nine-patches too.
Very pretty!
