Its Vivian Day

These quilts are from Vivian and her cousin Mae - the snowbird! Vivian is active in the FRG (Family Readiness Group) for our local reserves unit. None of the women in the group are quilters and I (Vivian) have offered to teach a beginning quilting class this fall and there seems to be some interest in doing that so we’ll see how that pans out!

She may be creating the next wave of quilters in her area.. Great Job Vivian ( and good job security too Giggle)

These quilts are just great! I wanted to show you the pocket on the back. I thought that was the neatest thing. It is stitched into the backing - I assume it is put on after the quilting is done. But it buttons and everything. Perfect to keep some pictures or a letter or Something in!

Thanks ladies!~
