Happy Happy Friday!!
Hope you had a super Quilty Fun filled Week!!!
We had winter and spring all in the same days - so we made sure to go ride horses and fix fences during the spring part of the day, and try to be inside on the winter part of the day. We messed up Tuesday - and rode in the wind. Wind is not all that bad sometimes, its the sand that blow with it.
On the other hand - my face is very smooth after all that sand hit it haha!
last year at one of our QOV Sew Days and with our online group we made these Little Log Cabins... and this week - I got some of them put into a top!
Alright - it that time in the post for YOU !!! SHOW off - what did you finish? Not Finish? Show off and let us celebrate what you did!!!

Haha on the free "wind facial". Love the log cabins, that made a big quilt!
The Log Cabin QOV turned out really cool. Gotta love spring where you can have all 4 seasons in one week, we hit 80 one day last week and have snow in the forecast for Sunday.
Fabulous layout with that star in the center!
Your log cabin star is a beautiful design! So glad it didn't blow away when you were trying to get photos. Happy Friday, Alycia!
Beautiful log cabin group effort!!! Cute quilting on that striped client quilt!
Beautiful arrangement of the log cabins, Alycia. I hear you about wind; it's been blowing hard here for about a week and I'm ready for it to slack off a bit (which, fingers crossed, happens today).
That log cabin top is beautiful! As for the sand. . .I hear you! In addition to the face smoothing though that wind can put sand in places that make you wonder how it could do put sand there!!!!!
I absolutely adore log cabin quilts and yours is a real beauty, Alycia!!
I love how your log cabin quilt turned out with the star in the center! Too funny about the "Winds of Exfoliation." All I could think of was the sandstorms on Tatooine from Star Wars...
Those log cabin blocks made a beautiful QOV. Great job!
I think it turned out pretty cool too. Very well done. ;^)
That's one way to get a facial! :D The quilt is beautiful! Thanks so much for hosting!

I love how you set your log cabin blocks! I'm making some, and this is great inspiration. Thanks!
That Starry Log Cabin top is awesome! Love how the dark blocks form the star—so cool! Totally feel you on the wind struggles... fabric + gusts = chaos 😆 Also, that book sounds wild! Can’t imagine quilting without recognizing faces 😳 And those client quilts—so fun and full of color! Thanks for sharing all the good vibes!
Starry log cabins are always a hit--and this one is for sure!!!
