My Not finishes - and FInished!! ( or not) Friday

This week got away from me, and as I was looking for what I finished? I realized I just started things this week... that was a LOT of fun and I will have future finishes right?

I did get this top done:

It was a little mystery that was ran on a Facebook page - and I thought - I need to get in on that - 2 weeks - start to finish - I'm impressed with my self - haha!!!

I also finished quilting this one for a client - She didn't applique it - just ironed the whole thing - and the quilting is what is going to keep it together.... I hope!!

it was a little hard to quilt - at some of the points there are A LOT of layers, and the needle starts to warp a bit. I had to SLOW way down...

Thursday Morning started like this - all sunny and happy......

I had beef deliveries, and Quilt deliveries - and the temps dropped from 75 to 40 by the time I got home. I will have to check in a bit - but they say SNOW!! is coming today ( Friday!) So since it felt fallish.... Potato Soup and.......

And now!!
Tell me about your week!!
What did you FInish? Or not?

And HAPPY EASTER!!!!
My favorite saying about Easter - its Friday!! But Sunday's coming....

Love your mystery quilt. That is a really short time to finish a mystery! Crazy temperature changes, but I guess that's typical for your area.

I think Mother Nature is wining too; she's driving the weather system under the influence. ;^)

It's good for you to have a fun sewing mystery!! The weather can be crazy up and down in the Spring!!!

How much snow did you get? We probably have less than an inch, but hopefully it's at least a little bit of moisture for our parched yard. The r, w, and b star is gorgeous!

that is the prettiest quilt and the blue fabric sparkles. I really like the layout. Then said snow would start yesterday, 4, then 9 then midnight, now 9 AM... think we'll get any at all? LeeAnna

I like your Facebook mystery top finish. We are having sunshine here as well which I am loving. . .rain is coming so I plan to enjoy the rays while they are here. I did finish a project which I will share next week.

Getting a top done counts as a finish to me!! And oh wow, I hope your quilting does a good job of holding the client quilt together.

Love your R,W &B one. We did get about 5 inches of snow where it built up. Not on the roadways thank goodness. We had chili, no wine here though. I need to go shopping!

Looks like some happy pups!! Enjoy the soup and glass of wine. That quilt top is really pretty. Is it destined to be a QOV?

Your quilt top looks fabulous. I look forward to seeing how you quilt this patriotic beauty. Your client's quilt looks amazing too. Soup is perfect to warm you up. Have a great weekend and Happy Easter.

Hi Alycia, that's a great start and a lovely client quilt. Looks like the dogs had fun in the sun while it lasted. It's going to be cuddle up weather, so enjoy!

The mystery quilt looks like fun. The customer quilt is very pretty. Those grids take time, I did that for GG's trivet and thought I was going to go nuts, and it's a lot smaller than that project!

Love the mystery quilt top—2 weeks is awesome!
And kudos for powering through that client quilt—those thick spots sound like a real challenge. Hope your needle survived the journey!
