A Marvelous Quilt Finish.... and Finished ( or not ) Friday

I have a finish.... I have a finish... you can see me happy dancing and singing that right?

This is the Marvelous Mystery ( L1) that I ran but the pattern was written by Linda ( https://artinsearch.blogspot.com/   and I LOVE it!!

We did the mystery in 2019 and I did not get mine completely finished - but this works for me, because now it is complete - and! I have a home for it.

So this makes it a new quilt!! ( right??)

I won't tell you yet who it goes to - but as I was binding it - their faces came to me!!! and now I will make it happen.

and the Quilting - I love these photos - where you can see the detail.....

it makes me happy - and!! it proves I quilted it haha!

Yep, its Marvelous! It's bright and happy but warm and cozy all at the same time. Great use of plaids.

Pretty in plaid!
I love Baptist Fan quilting. Wish I could do it on my DSM. If I want that quilting I have to do it by hand.

You really amaze me with how great you can make plaids look in a quilt! This looks so comfy and warm. I know your recipient will love it!

Great quilt. Love all the blue and green plaids. Are they upcycle shirts?

Marvelous Mystery is a beauty in blues and plaids. I wish I had your eye for putting fabrics together.

What a nice surprise! It looks absolutely lovely! Mine was given away long ago, so it was nice to another one. Your quilting is wonderful.

Yeah! It is marvelous, I agree. Great use of plaid fabrics. The white and blue join then all so well. Congrats, Alycia!

I love it when a quilt tells me where it wants to be. This one is really pretty and I love the spiral Baptist Fan-ish design on the quilting.

Oooh, I have become a big fan of blue quilts and love plaid ones so I am happy dancing right along with you! Baptist Fan quilting always works so well. Your intended recipients are getting a great gift to help start the year off right!
