Jacobs Ladder

Saturday was my son's graduation party, we stayed up way to late, and then had to be up and out the door at 5:15 am Sunday to go work a Triathlon. The oldest lifeguarded it, I helped the swimmers out, the other three helped the wetsuits come off. Then we went and helped at the finish line....

SO! after a short little nap on Sunday - I dug into my Jacobs ladder!!

ALL the blocks are finally done - and the one that had the boo boo is now fixed. I even have one row sewn all together now!

I think I even know what I am going to do for a border.... sort of... don't want to get too far ahead of myself - right?

My son LOVES Donuts! I have to eat Gluten Free  - so we ordered a million donuts from the store for his party - and my middle son made me a Gluten Free Chocolate donut ;-)  He even decorated it!

And of course - the graduate! For those of you who told me I am too young to be the mom of this kid - yes I totally agree with you!!!

Check out his hamburger.... he actually ate the whole thing!!!
Some of you have asked what this is - it is a chocolate frosted donut, hamburger, and another frosted donut..... his idea of heaven ..

Oh my... they grow up so fast, don't they? Congratulations to your son! And congratulations to you, mother of the graduate!

Your JL is looking good! Didn't put a border on mine but it was large enough as it was...

OMG! Is that frosting on top of the hamburger? LOL
Congratulations!

Love your JL - especially the way the cheddar color "hangs up" in the air above the other colors. Does it look that way in person, too?
