If you remember I wanted to sew an hour a day. I did so well for a few weeks, and then life took over. So I started trying to find 15 minute increments. It has worked wonderfully. I don't feel guilty if I don't get a whole hour in - but I find myself really REALLY enjoying the 15 minutes when I get it!
I tried to do 8 glasses of water and 2 fruits a day. We are all doing this - and it is great! It also cuts down the food bill when you go out to eat and everyone gets water.... Like by $15!! Great trade off!
I would love to say that it has made my skin so soft and un-wrinkly... but I don't know about that.. tee hee! But I also know that it has cut down on my soda consumption. Another great trade off right?
Now that summer is here - and the kids are finally done with school, I think I am going to add quilting time ( long arm time) to my must do list. I do quilt for clients, and I stay pretty busy, but sometimes I have a hard time doing some of my own quilts. I have zippers on my machine, so I can take quilts on and off - and I think I am really going to try to do my client quilting in the day, and maybe try to sneak in an hour or two of personal quilting 3 times a week.
That's not too much pressure is it? I love long-arming, and I have my own tops, I have been trying to sell some finished quilts - so this should be a good little extra way to work on my own stuff, and stuff I want to sell right?
Here's to another great week!!!

I'm not too sure about the 8 glasses of water a day. That's a lot of liquids. Sounds like you are on track. I try to work in 15 minutes of stitching a day. it makes me a much happier person. When I'm stressed sometimes even DT says "Mom go sew for a few minutes, you'll feel better."
You bet! Here's to another great week!
And good luck on your goal of personal quilting :) Definitely a great goal towards some more Happiness.
