HOT!!! Off the Frame!!!

I did it ! Whoot Whoot - This week I have been getting up early ( 5am ish) every morning, making the kids breakfast and running Quickly to my quilting studio.... before anyone can ask for anything else.....

Of course, the whirlwind that is summer starts at 8am - so my time is a little limited.... but!!!

I FINISHED Quilting this quilt!  It is a Quilt of Valor made by Kevin the Quilter, of the Mystery Pattern from Bonnie Hunter - which I can NOT for the life of me remember right now!!!!

I tell you - Kevin did a fabulous job piecing this quilt - It was TOTALLY square. With this many pieces and the triangles in the corner - that had to be no easy feat!!!

I am linking up with http://confessionsofafabricaddict.blogspot.com/  and Crazymomquilts.blogspot.com for Finished Fridays - Whoot Whoot!!!

Oh. Wow! I'll have to ship over to Kevin's site too! I don't remember seeing him post his completed top ("Easy Street" BTW) :)

Amazing finish you two! And excellent use of time between all activities.

Wow! It looks like a Cathedral window... not the quilting pattern CW, but an actual leaded glass window. Its amazing.
I can't imagine why he sent it to you to be quilted, when he has his own long arm... I guess he just couldn't wait to get to the next project, or, as I suspect, he wanted a really good job done on it...

Nice one Alycia fitting that lovely quilting into hours that I didn't even know were on a clock!

Alycia! YOU! ARE! AWESOME! The quilting looks great on it, and I am so glad it will be going to a deserving member of the U.S. military! Thanks for the shout out!

Kevin's Easy Street makes a great QOV! He is such an avid QOV quilter. He did a wonderful job on it and you did as well in quilting it! Thanks for all you do for our soldiers.

I adore Kevin's version of Easy Street! I loved the colors he chose when he showed it on his blog and really wish I had been adventurous enough to go with his colors also. Maybe in the future...

This is a beautiful QOV!

Oh my gosh, this quilt is BEAUTIFUL. Kudos to you and Kevin! It reminds me of a mosaic in a Turkish mosque. Not that I've ever seen one in person, but that's what came to mind the second I saw it. I LOVE mosaics.
