My Memories Giveaway

Oh My Gosh! I am in Love!!! Way back in the olden days when I had my first child, I had dreams of making creative photo albums, and keeping up with his life in pictures, and being super mom. And then I went back to work, and then I started my own business, and then I had two more kids, and then..... well thank goodness for digital cameras.

I have all sorts of great pictures on my computer, and had planned to start making photo albums for the boys... and then I decided I would do it when they left home, and then I figured that even then, it might not happen..... but that;s getting ahead of myself - none of them are leaving me until they are 90!!!

Anyways - this new digital Scrapbooking software was introduced to me, and I THINK. I. LOVE. IT!!!  I have already made two small photo albums of sports for the boys, and am working on one for my quilts - and it is SO COOL - its all on my computer.

So.... what is this you ask?  It is called My Memories Suite. And you have a chance to win a free copy of the software! Right Here!!

To enter this drawing for a FREE Memories Suite V 2

1. Go To http://www.mymemories.com/   and browse.
2. Tell me your favorite digital paper pack, or layout in your comment.
3. Make sure you leave me a way to contact you
4. This drawing will take place on Saturday October 29th at 5pm

I look forward to seeing what your favorite item is - who knows - I might NEED it.

Here are some ( a very few) of the layouts I have done.

In this one - I changed the color pictures to sepia toned ( which you can do in the suite) and then loaded them onto a faded background.  In case you didn't know - this is my oldest on homecoming night. He escorted a darling!!

This one - I was seeing how I could rotate pictures, lighten them, darken them, etc.

As I was playing - I figured out how to use a photo to be the background for the  page. I LOVE THIS!!! Can you imagine how awesome this will be for the Quilt of Valor Journals?

I seem to make a lot of journals for our QOV's and I think this will be an awesome way to personalize them, and include even more info for our veterans.

Hope you all like this giveaway!!
Don't forget - leave a comment before Saturday the 29th!!

Very cool - so many to choose from. I'll say "Fresh Start." Thanks, Alycia!

I just might get this for my SIL for Christmas. She says she doesn't have time to scrapbook like she once did. She would be able to do this on a laptop while they're travelling.

That's a pretty neat website. I like Sail Away. Anything nautical AND red, white and blue is a big hit with me. Thanks for sharing it.Gina in Longmont

What a cool idea! I, too, had grand plans of scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my first child. After all, I was quitting my job to be a SAHM, so I was going to have plenty of free time, or so I thought. Little did I know I'd never have a free moment again!!

I love the lot's of bots set. My oldest is fascinated by robots lately.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I like "My Heritage." I do a lot of genealogy, so I could use this pack to combine genealogy and scrapbooking.

Thanks for the idea of digital scrapbooking!

What a great find. Thanks for introducing me to it. They have great stuff, but I think I would choose the Christmas Melody Pack. It looks almost like fabrics I love. Thanks for a chance.

I SO need to get back to doing this. I've been trying to use Photoshop Elements but I suspect this software might be quicker to learn. I really like the my month papers--I'm thinking calendars for my Dad and I laws would be good Christmas gifts.

This is a neat program. I really like the "at home" pages. There's so many frames and such in it.

What a great give away! I am going to leave my name out, though. I have one too many hobbies at the moment. However, you helped me locate a great gift idea for someone I like to gift.

What a really neat program! I love the "Meow" background and the "Cat Frame Set 1", sooooo cute. I have hundreds of pet photos and some date back to the 60's. Some have lost their color or turned dark. I bet I could Photo Shop them and then use this program to save them. I guess I might find the time to also work on family photos....maybe. LOL
Hugs,
Linda

I would choose the "It Happened This Year" pack. I would love to try the digital approach to scrapbooking. I am new to scrapbooking but am short on time for it, so I would really like to try the digital approach.

Thanks for the giveaway!! I love following your blog and seeing all of the QOV

Thanks, diane@fancyquilt.com

I love Family History. My daughter and DIL work together to give me an album of their family photos for the year for my birthday. They have been doing this for 10 years. So in return I will be working on a digital album of pictures of grandparents, great-grandparents and family history that should not be lost.

There were several interesting ones, but I think the Dare to Dream was the most versatile one. And, doesn't everyone have a dream?

Wow...this software is jam-packed! It's really difficult to pick just one, but Family History would be a good one. I actually have a lot of photos in albums and have been trying to get rid of those ones that 'eat' the photos, but I have fallen way behind in that, too. I have about 2000 photos on my computer...YIKES!! They really need to be in albums, and digital would be perfect. Thanks...you have SO much information!!

Very cool software--- maybe there is hope yet of getting something done for my kids before they graduate college!

My favorite.. that is TOOOOO hard... but I think Nostalgia has my vote though... makes me want to get started tonight!

Thanks for the chance to win it, and dream about having them done!

This software looks really cool. I've never been able to put together a scrapbook but this looks like something I might be able to handle. It is really hard to choose my favorite paper pack - there are just too many to choose. However, I'm going to say "Happy Autumn Backgrounds" looks really interesting and you would be able to do so much with it.

Hi this is definitely addicting! Having never seen this, I like the Changes pack, as I have had a lot of changes lately. Neat stuff. Sharon @slozano5@earthlink.net
