Augusts UFO - sort of

The UFO number that Judy picked for August has dissappeared.... well I think I might know where it is, but I was too lazy to get to it.... and I had this quilt top that I had pinned to quilt like 6 months ago.... so I thought I would just switch them out!!!  So LOOK a UFO is done!!

Thats all that really matters right?

So ta da.... It was my quilt kit that I purchased from High Prairie quilts when I was on a stash enabling trip with Jessica.

It was rescued from my to do list by Denise V. She took it and pieced it for me. ( see somebody does understand me LOL)

I found the PERFECT backing
and quilted it up.

And ta da..... done!!

So glad that some of the bloggers I read are doing this UFO challenge. It is pushing me into numbering my own and starting on it this month. We are getting settled in Vermont and I have even seen my sewing machines! Of course, I also have my own internet back up and running so I am a little distracted with catching up on what everyone is doing. =0)

This is a great finish - number seven or not - OTL and that is important. Love these colors. Judy C in NC

I love purple and green together and you did one of my favorite blocks as well. Very nice!

Great Job! I LOVE that backing fabric! It makes me want dessert (not that I need fabric to make me crave that)!

A finish is a finish--one less UFO is what counts! Love the backing fabric you found!
