Either way - they are hilarious, and Aren't sure why I was carrying a black thing into their pasture

These little babies are soooo lazy!!

However, if there is a mouse - they are pretty quick to pounce!

Or if my shoe laces are untied!!

I have a finish... I have a finish.... Say that in your most taunting voice ! The one that you used to make your siblings so jealous of you!!!   Yep --- that always makes me laugh!!

This was my Leader/Ender project for a long time!  I won't tell you how long, because, quite truly - I don't know. I just kept working on it, and working on it, until one day - it needed to become a top!!

Now it is even quilting - and - are you ready for this? To my faithful followers, you had better be sitting down.... IT!  Is!  BOUND!!!  Oh yes - it is!!!

Ta-da!!

Quilts of Valor - Mystery Quilts

I will be the first to say - I LOVE Mystery Quilts.  I have never had one turn out bad yet - and if I did - you can't prove it  ( ha ha ha)  because 90% of the time - I let a Veteran choose them.  And you know - they always are loved, and there is someone for every quilt.

I say all that to tell you that a new Mystery is starting over at the Yahoo group called MysteryQuilts4Military

Grasshopper Pie... The final Finish!!

I introduced Grasshopper Pie to you earlier this month!  But when he had his debut.... his binding was missing!

I had the chance to get to the Quilt shop and get "the perfect" binding for him, and maybe a jellyroll for me.....

This last weekend I got to house-sit for a friend - and I took Grasshopper Pie and Ta-da!

He is bound!!!

I tried to be all artsy like the quilt magazines and use furniture - it was raining outside and gloomy.

I think I need some more practice at *draping*

Good Wednesday Morning Quilters!!!

This last week ( well this one too) may have been a little crazy around here, and my Quilt Photo Helpers were not available.... unless I wanted to lug the quilts to the pig pens.... oh yuck!!!

I do have a few Quilt Photos for you though:

The quilt on the Left was made by Monica and quilted by Jane. It was a Mystery quilt from the MysteryQuilts4Military Yahoo group.  It is beautiful Monica!!

And on the Right is a BQ from Judy V and quilted by Judy V - fantastic!!

Next we have on the Left - another created by Judy V and Quilted by Her, and on the right and beauty from the Townsend Quilters in Broomfield!  it was quilted by Barb!

Ms Cathy DG and her quilters got together on National Sew Day - and this is one of the Quilts of Valor they made - Cathy Quilted it - Thanks quilters!!

Ms Liz took these photos of quilts that came her way!  This one was made by Liz and quilted by Kathy

Barn Dance - another Plaid Quilt

I may have/or have not..... but  most likely have..... started another Plaid quilt!

I have finished all of my leader ender quilts in progress, and needed a new one to fill in the blanks....

I was doing my blog reading - and Lori had a start of a quilt on her design wall.... it was sort of like going down the rabbit hole!  I traced it to JustQuiltin with Denise, and saw that she had a Quilt a long - called Barn Dance happening!!

I quickly looked at my plaid stash - you know - just to make sure I had enough plaids left .... and jumped in!!!

And there you go - the start of step 1~~ !!!  Yay me!  I am sure this will take awhile, as truly I am using it as a leader ender, and cutting up leftover scraps ...should be great!!

Loved Ones

One of the photo challenges was "Loved Ones" . And it was to capture candid snapshots of your Loved Ones. In my mind that meant sort of Shots in everyday life, and un-posed.   Live with my family! Un-posed just doesn't happen at all!! Stinkers - it's like they smell the camera!!!


We might have had to build a bit of fence ..so I pulled my i phone out ( if I went back to the house - they would have known something was up) and then look who looked up!!

After church ( On Mothers Day)

I suggested they make me Brownies

and I grabbed my camera - and look who popped into the shot

( he has a camera sniffer I tell ya!)

Then I pretended like I was reading the mail

and Bam!

Got one!

And again - I have another little poser!

Goofy family!

Some of my loved ones are missing....

but one is on his way back home!!

Yay

Oh - and that calls for more brownies right??

Oh one of my favorite'ist Clients is back at it again - She made this amazing Batik Quilt!!!

This one is on my bucket list too - and when I pulled it out - I think I may have screamed.... cuz I knew I was going to have to send it back!!
