Blue Plaid Crumbs .... and FINISHED ( or not) FRIDAY!!!

It is the FIRST FINSIHED FRIDAY of the year!!!!

I have a finish!!! and I can't wait to see what you have been up to!!

This was called Plaid Crumbs with Blue, But I just changed it to Blue Plaid Crumbs... and that's still not a very good name, but it does describe it....and I am singing it in my head to the tune of Blue Suede Shoes.... by Elvis!!!!!

Ta da!!! We took this photo on a miserable cold, but beautifully sunny day!! In between storm 2 and 3 ( or was it 3 and 4?)  It's hard to complain about the cold when the sun is shining... plus... I really do like the cold....

Looks better with the sun on it - and see... cell phone!! I am getting better at my cell phone Photos!!

The feather quilting... I did some squared - ish Feathers on it... and!!! The Back!! Brings out the COWBOY in me haha!!!

  • Quilt Stats:  60 x 80 inches
  • Block Size 10 inches
  • Fabric used: Not enough... I still have crumbs!!

and now!!! it is your turn to link up!! If you are new - it is Called Finished ( or not) Friday - so you can take it how you wish.

I ( personally) try to make it a Finish each week - whether it be a whole quilt, or the Quilt top, or bringing the project to the next stage.... but that's me... I am competitive with myself!

This is the first time I've come in via your main website - is it new? It's awesome! OK your crumbs quilt is really pretty, love the name and trying not to let your song get in my head - lol!

What a great quilt! Blue is always a great neutral for scrappy quilts!

I love this one, Alycia! The pale blue is a perfect choice to help those plaids sing.

I'm glad you have had some nice breaks between the storms; they have been impressive! Speaking of impressive, well done on your quilt finish. It looks beautiful in the sun.

How about Blue Sued Shoeboxes ?? It looks great against the wintery background. Phone pics are my own growing edge for sure. Thank you for the linky party!

Yikes, every week you show off a finished quilt or top? Girl, you must never sleep as it seems you have a ton of finishes all the time! Love your comment on Fabric Used. Let me know when you run out of crumbs so I can send you some of mine too! Just saying.

Great quilt and quilting Alycia! Ha on the cell phone - I feel ya! I love what you do with plaids, hope to work with some of mine this year.

This quilt makes me want to make a plaid quilt so I will have plaid scraps! It is fantastic. I am all about simplicity - this is my kind of cozy which is much needed with the weather you have had!

Is it even possible to use all the crumb fabrics? I don't think so, lol! Your Blue Crumb Plaid quilt is beautiful! Congratulations on starting 2023 with a finish :)

Great crumb quilt! It looks like a real cozy one too. I need to dive into both: my crumbs and my plaids (which are mostly flannels). Maybe this will be the year? Glad to see you are still hosting FONF for the New Year, will be joining in this week!
