May RSC - Forest Steppers and my Monthly String Blocks

I'm coming in just under the wire on this one!!!!

The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month was Green - I read that as Forest or Dark greens...

and with all the wonderful challenges that took me out of my studio this month - I was so excited to get this one into TOP stage!!!

( which means you WILL see it again... as a finish!!)

I didn't realized I had that much Forest in my stash... but I did!!!

And then!!! Another under the wire!!!  My plan of making one string block a day almost got away from me. And yes - I take the *string* part pretty liberally ;-)

Here you go!! 31 Blocks for May!!

They make for a bright, crazy, eye straining design wall!!!

I hate to be a copykat but your Stepper quilts have inspired me to make a complete one every month as per RSC color of the month; totally out of my scrap bins, of course. I have not managed to work on any RSC blocks this year, but i think a finished quilt every month might get me back on track. Have a great week ahead, Alycia.

Fun designs! I think we will be seeing them as quilts very soon!

You inspire me to get a plan together to use my string scraps. Just need to find time to start! 😆

The pieced quilt top and blocks look great. You are a busy and productive quilter!! :)

Great results. I wish I could challenge myself to make a string block every day. I have PLENTY of strings but I also have too many UFOs.
