Oh...don't you just love visitors who bear gifts??
And now you have made that gift even more beautiful with your quilting and will gift it forward. Wonderful!

I got an error when I tried to publish my comment, so just in case it didn't go through, I'm commenting again, as near as I can remember what I wrote - not done with my coffee yet. ;)
That IS a pretty quilt, and I agree, the gold just makes it pop. LOVE your quilting! I just went back and read the post about Sue - do the quilts in her memory get donated as QOVs?

HEY! Now that's my finish for the week, too, huh?! Looks great all quilted and everything. Now to see it around the shoulders of one of our heroes!! Thanks for wrapping it up, Alycia!

You've turned another top into a quilt--just a beautiful quilt. And yes, that gold sets the other colors off beautifully!

I love this block and great job Sherrill. I have three made and waiting for the right quilt to put them in. Always fun to meet a blogger person!

Stunning; the gold really does set it off beautifully. How many Flags for Sue quilts have been made at this point?

Such a fabulous quilt, Alycia. So glad Sherrill was able to get it all quilted up. Happy quilting.

Nice job on getting that top quilted. (I'm impressed with your speed!) Some vet will love it.

That really is beautiful, and it will be awesome to see where it ends up, if it's a QoV!
