The Red Quilt

This is the year of the binding!  I admit - I love to piece, to quilt, to make the binding.... and then...

Squirrel....I am on to  new project and I forget the binding. My dear friend stepped in...she finished the binding on this Red and Cream quilt.  And made me want to finish more!!

Red and Cream Quilt - for sale in my Etsy store

So yesterday I had a notion to finish a few more things, and I think I actually might have started a few more things!!  Who knows.... but I was so excited that this one was done!!

I did add it to my Etsy Store.

Here is a little close up of the blocks. There is so much red goodness in each one - they are fun!!

And of course the back - you have to see the quilting detail - that's always fun too!

very pretty, love the reds. Did you use a pattern or just create one for yourself?

I love it. Red is my favorite color. Is it pieced or are the red patches appliqued? (Reason I asked is the polka dots are so even. Good job, either way.)

What a great design for using up stash. I will make a blue one because my blue stash is out of control. Is there a pattern? I can see what the blocks are but I am not certain of the measurements. Are the big red pieces 8"x4"? Is there a pattern?

Congrats on the finish. Red is just so vibrant, it's a gorgeous quilt.

This quilt pattern looks like a great way to use up scraps that are all in the same color family.

I think I'm in love with this pattern, and you've picked the perfect colors for it.
