Green is our Rainbow scrap color - and!! I love Green ... but apparently - May doesn't have enough days in it for me to finish this top. That's okay!! I will keep stitching... but you will want to read on as to what might have delayed me a bit.
Here's where I find myself on the Green RSC quilt top:
I need 80 blocks as I want this one to be bigger than couch size. It actually has a recipient in mind at this moment! So I need to keep stitching some blocks and get it the right size.
But look what distracted me!
A cute new baby!!! And check out my Bella - laying all nice and calm by her. Puppy belongs to my son - he works in the field ( archaeologist) so he got himself a companion. She did come home about a month ago to meet us - and it was a little chaotic - but he was only here 3 days - so we made do.
This time the weather made him stay for a week - oh! and a wedding! My girls did SO good with her. Daisy - well - Daisy - she lets you know when she is done with the puppy , so we made sure to remove her from the situation. Bella - she was so curious - and just couldn't figure out how to play and run when that puppy was on a leash. Puppy is a 7 1/2 ish month old Pound puppy. She is learning how to follow rules;-)
And check out my Reno baby!! So Reno's mommy is pregnant again - and we have a bet going on here as to when she is going to actually deliver the baby.... the bet keeps changing - as so far - I have been winning them all. I say June 3 - K says last Saturday, Last Monday and Last night.... no baby yet.
Puppy left last night - My Pups are all worn out - I see a catch up day in my future!

The buckeye beauties are fantastic!! Love them in all the various colors you have done.
What fun to puppy-sit for a while! I didn't know your son is an archaeologist -- what's his specialty? Meanwhile, in your studio: maybe Emerald Chain rather than diamond? Looks great.
It won't take you long to finish those green blocks. The puppy looks to be at that teenager stage when everything is oversized and they are clumsy. Cute guy!
Loving all that green in the Buckeye. I hope the she delivers on the 3rd as that is my birthday!
The greens in the quilt are superb!!! The larger green quilt will make a wonderful gift! Fun to see the new grandpup; I think it is interesting that company wears out even our pets! lol
Baby Reno has an adorable face! That white patch looks like a tornado! I'm glad the puppy did well with the girls and vice versa. Your green Buckete Beauty looks great! I've liked every color way you've stitched this year!
I love the design of the green quilt. That is going to make a lovely gift for someone. The new baby (grandfur baby) is adorable.
I love it when a quilt knows where it is going. And the puppy looks very eager to please. :)
That green quilt will be beautiful. Who ever is getting it will love it, I'm sure. I need to count my Buckeye blocks and see how many more I might need yet. How exciting to have another colt coming!
Love your green blocks! That puppy is so adorable, but I think 3 days would have been enough for me. 🤣 Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Another pretty Buckeye Beauty, love it in greens too! Oh those sweet babies, what fun (and chaos - lol!)
Go girl! You can finish Buckeye Beauty in no time at all. Almost there. Sew, sew, sew, lol. Cute little puppy. She is so focus on you. Love photo of Reno. It looks like the silhouette of some kind of flower on his forehead. So recognizable. Looks like fantastic weather at your place. Enjoy! ;^)
Love your green Buckeye Beauty! You'll have a finished quilt before you know it. That looks like a sweet puppy your son got - glad your girls did okay with her!
Love your green RSC quilt! You have lots going on with your menagerie - I don't know how you manage it all and quilt too!!!
I have always loved that pattern and yours is looking great! Happy Stitching!
