My Month of Yellow!!! and Finished ( or not) Friday!!

The Month of Yellow is coming to a close.. that was a fun happy color to play with, and of course - I used a lot of bright yellow. I must have wanted to urge Spring along!!

Here is what I got done!!:

My Yellow Diamond Chain/Buckeye Beauty is now a top!  I think I found a back, but I am not sure that is the one I want to use, and I have  few client quilts scheduled first - so you know - sorta better do those first 😇

I got 11 Yellow Crumb Blocks completed- but!!

I also started these wonky logs!! I just love them -
There is actually 14, but one didn't get its photo taken because I forgot it was in process when I took the photo.

Now my yellows are a lot lighter in the scrap bin, the lid could close if I wanted it to... but who wants to do that - Another color is going to be called soon - so you know - it needs to be open to the possibilities!!!

My helper - she supervises all projects, and gives her opinion. Its when she barks that I really worry I'm using the wrong color!!

What a pretty top - love the colors. Your wonky blocks are so cute. How great that Bella guides your choices with her bark - lol.

All your yellow scrap blocks are wonderful. I have a lot of scraps but not nearly that much yellow. Love your "Helper".

That sweet doggy face brought me a smile this morning. Lots of yellow fun going on. I'm very ready for a new color.

Love your wonky log cabin blocks! They are my favorite scrappy blocks-I have made many quilts from them. Beautiful purple and yellow top, also!

The addition of purple to your yellow makes your quilt look quite regal. Your helper looks like royalty too. 😉

Love the colours in that quilt. So beautiful. Love, love the crumb blocks but the wonky cabin made me laugh. It's a good thing builders don't follow your blue print, haha. Enjoy! ;^)

Love all the yellow! 💛 The Diamond Chain/Buckeye Beauty top looks amazing, and those wonky logs are so fun! Can’t wait to see what color comes next. Also, your helper sounds like the best (and cutest) critic! 🐶😂

I love your yellow crumb blocks and the log cabins, too. (And I'm not a particular fan of yellow).

I’m an LSU grad. Purple & gold always look good together.

The yellow diamond chain quilt top looks great. I hope that by the time you finish the client quilts you are confident in a backing choice for it!

Your latest top has such a Spring feel. The color scheme remind me of crocuses.

Oh, that wonky logs quilt is so fun. I just finished a quilt myself this winter. It is such a good feeling of accomplishment when you finish a quilt.

Beautiful quilt! Love the colors and I love the inside has light background with the darker blocks in the outside border. Good job! And great job and getting through quite a bit of yellow scraps. Now, get those customer quilts done so you can reward yourself with your own.
