That is what the trunk of my car looked like!
I hit the jackpot!!!
When you get a windfall like this , what is the first thing you do?
So far the first thing I did was play in the browns.

Then I remembered that RED was the RSC color for January - so I grabbed the Red bag.
and then!! I sorted thru and found the Patriotic colors
Those all went with my to my sew day - My Quilters HAD a BLAST playing with them!!
What would you do next?

And your friend had them sorted by color when she gave them to you, that's half the battle right there!!

What an awesome haul! I think I would open the bags and get them into clear ones so I could revel in the colors for a while until I figured out how to use all of them. SCRAPPY is THE BEST!
That is certainly a find! I love neutrals, so I think I would start there.

I would have been completely overwhelmed to have someone give me that much scraps! Glad it made you happy though, have fun stitching!
Lucky you!!! Although knowing you I am sure most o f those scraps will be turned into quilts and generously given away. Handsome Main Man!!! Bet he is a great ride (in addition to being a squeeze) as well :-D
Oh my! Sorted by color and so many! I absolutely love sorting through gifted scarps….simply the best! And how awesome is it to be able to share that fun with your group?
