When I got home from my Mountain retreat - I had all of my Entropy Blocks put into a top...
and I thought I was done - but when I kept looking at it - I decided I may be done - but that top was yelling at me that IT was not done!!
and so what is a girl to do?
Add borders
And I am going to ask you all a very VERY serious question
Do Borders take you just as long to make and apply as piecing the WHOLE quilt?
Oh la la - but I persisted and!!
and NOW!!
My Entropy Scrap a long Top is done!!
Yay Me!!!
I deserve to start another project now ;-)

Love it- you conquered Entropy! Looks graphic and terrific.
I love this!
Yes, it seems like borders take a long time. After pressing, I'm excited because I'm finished with this quilt!!! But then I remember, binding, blah, but I go ahead and cut the binding and sew it together and place it with the flimsy because I don't want the stress of looking for binding fabric later on. Your quilt is lovely and can't wait to see it quilted, happy stitching!
The borders really pop the quilt! Yes the borders do seem to take a long time!
I love this top! And yes, I seriously procrastinate when it comes to borders. 😂
I really like this quilt top and the borders look great! Worth the struggle!
I like it!
So true, those pesky borders...but what a beauty!
If I haven't pre-cut my borders, it definitely takes me as long because I hate cutting fabric and will procrastinate on that step, haha! Looks great
It is a beautiful top.
Yes, the borders always seem to take a long, long time consuming.
That's gorgeous, Alycia! Can't wait to see what you do with the quilting.
Agreed...when don't add the borders, I wish I had! lol
And yes, they take a long time to sew in place, too.
But look at this top---it is so worth it-a very good marriage of color and design!
Your choice for the borders really makes the blocks shine. Great job!
Love it! BTW, I found another loom project. My hats weren't making me happy. I do better crocheting hats. But apparently dialysis clinics take/need sleeves for patients. They can't wear sleeves to get treatment but can slide up a sleeve tube once they are hooked up. I'm giving it a try. Gauge won't matter much so that's a bonus for me!
Persistence pays off! What a lovely top. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
