Suitable for Framing Finish.... and !! Finished ( or not) Friday!!

Happy Friday!!!  You have made it!! Today... you will know what day it is at all times.... not like Tuesday - when I kept thinking it was Thursday, or Monday , when I didn't have a clue.... Today!!! it is Friday!!

 I got this!!

And I was able to sneak in a little quilting on my January Color Blocks Quilt - "Suitable For Framing" from DebbyBrownQuilts.com

In Debbie's example she did some really cool Spiral Quilting - but since I have a long arm.... I decided to do a Swirl Panto - called Swirls R Us.... I think it worked out nicely.

So this is done for me!! it is 64 x 80 - and ... we are now working on the February Quilt called.... Try your Luck.... hopefully Luck will work out and I will get the top done in the short month!!

Now it is your turn to Link up your Finishes ( or not) from this week - and let us Ohh and Ahhh

  • * Please link the direct link to your post - not the general one to your blog
  • * Visit at least 3 others - spread the love
  • * Have fun!

What a beautiful quilt! I love the way you added length to it. The quilt-along is perfect for scraps, so yep, I just enrolled.
How fun to find your Finished Or Not Friday again!

I love that swirl against the straight piecing!

Love the swirls ! I can do swirls but i have a hard time making them on a large scale, so the smaller scale takes forever. LOL But the journey is fun, eh?

That swirl panto is a perfect finish for the color blocks quilt! All your scrappy blues and reds are wonderful.

I really like your "Suitable for Framing." I've actually taken a class from Debby many years ago. I don't know if she still is a HandiQuilter Educator but she was when she taught the class. She does wonderful quilting. Are you taking an online class or? It'll be fun to see what you do next!

My goodness, that's a beautiful top! The swirly quilting really adds some punch to the squares, too. Love it! I was sure you were going to say it is a QoV! I'm glad you are keeping one for you!

Isn't the Pandemic Time Fog a hoot?!? You are lucky to know what year it is let alone what month or day. I like the quilt (hmmm, could see that as a RSC project....) and the panto. Another dream for the post-pandemic days -- taking some long arm lessons. So many plans for when quarantining and social distancing is done!

Great warrior quilt, wonderfully scrappy, and perfect quilting design to go with it.
