A Circle Quilt

First Question.... have you ever made a Circle Quilt?
Second..............have you ever quilted a Circle Quilt?

My client pieced this AMAZING Circle Quilt, and allowed me to quilt it. I was so excited, and nervous. I wanted to do it justice..... and not get dizzy at the same time.

I learned a lot about circle on this one!

Isn't that just cool? The swirly is just so..... swirly. I quilted different colors in each swirl... so the back had a texture all of its own ;-)

And just for Grins - this is a horse.... one of mine. She's a character! She follows you around until you give in and give her a horse cookie. She has me trained pretty well.... but I made her pose first!

I have never done a circle quilt, although I do a lot of circular crochet. This stunning beauty makes me want to give it a go. Her colors are gorgeous, and your quilting is so beautiful and adds so much dimension!

That's cool. When I first started quilting a couple of years ago, my husband drew a similar pattern and asked me if I could make a quilt like that for him. Maybe one day I will be able to figure out how! LOL

Great quilting on the circle quilt! I have yet to make a circle quilt. The piecing is incredible! I would imagine it has to be quite exacting - :)

Wow - that circle IS amazing! What a challenge to piece, and I can't even imagine trying to quilt it! Beautiful job - both of you! (And YES, the personality in some of our animals is wonderful :D )

so did you get dizzy? I once quilted a spiral outward, and by the end, I was seeing double. The horse is so cute. I think of my standard poodle as very horse like.
