Design Wall Monday

My Connecting Threadz group had a sew in on Sunday... and I was so glad! I needed a big push to get some things done! And! It worked!!

I got the backing made for a gift quilt. And I would post it here, but I have a feeling this person checks my blog every once in a while. So you know that would probably be the day I post a picture!!

I finished a Quilt top, and the backing for this one:
I still need new light bulbs, so it's very shadowed in the picture. This is a quilt  for an auction coming up in January. Still need to quilt it!

I pulled my fabrics for a pillow project that I found in the premiere issue of Modern Quilting Unlimited. After playing with the fabrics I took the Red out. I think maybe hindsight, I should have left the red in, and taken a cream out. But I still like the results. Plus I have 4 more pillows to go, so I can vary the fabrics a little.

Here is everything all cut out. I was trying to stay organized. I am not sure that it really worked??

And... Here is my final pillow top. I just need to put the backing on it, and stuff the pillow in. That will be my today job.  ( after the pig meeting we have!)

And this little star? I Love it!!! Peggy B sent my some Quilts of Valor for our Soldiers, and tucked in the middle was this gorgeous little star. Her Husband made it!! So I immediately hung it over my ironing board. I LOVE it! It catches the light so nicely!!

Oh, you knew I was going to fall in love with that brand quilt! Is it a Christmas gift...for me? LOL. Your pillow is great - I love blue and white. And what a pretty star! People are so talented.
