Design Wall Monday

I think I need a weekend to recover from my weekend ;-)

Our Weld County fair is coming close, and we decided that we had better get to finishing up the projects! A lot of progress was made!

I finally *really* finished my Carpenter Star Quilt. I tried to take some pictures to see the texture, that is really hard in the evening!!

And the back - I think I like it as much as the front!! Its crazy!!

One big project done was the quilting on Little Bit's quilt.
I say this every time - I don't like to share, but he did pretty well on the Long Arm.
He didn't need very much help at all.

What great quilting on your Carpenter's Star... I can see why you like the back so much!

I love that your Little Bit is quilting too... requires good hand-eye coordination! WTG, Little Bit! ^5

Great job! I looked at all the other photos you posted on Friday and it really looks fantastic! Way to go getting the next generation making quilts!

Oh good, would you ask Little Bit if he is hire-able to finish up 27 of mine? I'll send them out with Dolly - LOL!

Excellent job on the Carpenter's Star!

Are you going to exhibit the quilt in the fair?

Alycia - your carpenter's star is so beautiful with your wonderful quilting. You've certainly mastered feather quilting! Thanks for sharing.

Love your Carpenter Star. I really like how you handeled that red stripe you use in the borders on the ends.
