Another QOV Finish ... and!!! Finished ( or not) Friday!!!

 You might Recognize this one:

Under the Starry Sky - It was a Quiltygirl© ( hey that's me!!) Mystery (done in 2020)

And oh my - The tops were phenomenal!!! The colors, the stars, I loved seeing them all!!

Well, Laura made this awesomely Super scrappy one - and!! I got to quilt it!! -

I love seeing how scrappy they can be! Won't it be fun for a Veteran to be looking at all those different fabrics?

A close up of the quilting, I knew you all wanted to see that part right?
I am off to a good QOV start this year!!!  My goal is always 1 a month, sometimes I get there, sometimes I don't!  But I chose a word for 2023 - JOY - so I will find JOY in adding a little extra love to this quilt before it goes to it's binder.

Under The Starry Sky and !!! Finished ( or not) Friday

What a week!! It sure went by fast!

Mostly this week... I think I started things!! ( Lots of things that I can't wait to show you!)

The only REAL Finish I had was Finishing up the Under The Starry Sky Pattern - and because I like Quilty Photos - I am sharing it again....  ( it makes my posts look pretty)

Plus - It makes me feel like I did something this week. Because Truthfully I am drawing a blank. I did finish feeding all the animals - twice a day!  I did finish delivering my other beef.... I did finish... well heck fire - Nope I did not finish cooking for us at all... I think it was leftovers or sliced cheese... who can remember haha!!

Oh and I did take Pictures of Baby Surprise - I just need to download them and you will laugh at her!
So - I guess this post is really all about you guys!! Show me what you Finished!!

Mystery A11 - Now known as UNDER THE STARRY SKY

Thank you all so much for all of the AWESOME name selections for our Mystery A11 - I loved them all !

The one that stood out to us was *Under the Starry Sky*   . I think it spoke to me and my family as we all live pretty rurally and at night... the stars are so bright. We like the idea of a Veteran/Servicemember sleeping under a Quilt of Stars and seeing what we do.

Under the Starry Sky

it is!

A few of you shared photos with me!

Barbara N's!

Judy C's

Be still my heart

Kevin the Quilter ( just needs to add the outer border -but that scrappiness!)

and then a few of you shared your blog posts with me!

Sane and Crazy

I have truly loved seeing all of these - and even more on Facebook etc!! It makes me happy and I hope that a Lot of Veterans/Service Members will feel the love!  Don't forget - there is a Vet that needs to have a Quilt of Valor - email Nancy at CalltoAction@ QOVF.org and she can hook you up!!
