Polka Dot Mask Quilt finish - and!! Finished ( or not) Friday!!!

 This is a quilt I started back when the pandemic Started... Sort of...

I dug out a box of fun polka dot fabrics to make masks with, and then I decided... no - these should be a quilt.  So I dug out the ugly fabric for masks - and continued making blocks with these fun little polka dot ones,

Oh! I had already cut the mask pieces - so I did get pretty far before I decided they needed to be a quilt....

and now!!!

It is now completely finished !!

Since it had Polka Dots - I really thought the quilting needed dots too.....

AND!!!! In my stash I had a rainbow polka dot - so that's what I used for the binding.... isn't it fun!!!

Ta Da!!! A finish!!! and!!!  its one of the items that was in my Pile Project start....

Polka Dot Mask Quilt Top..... and Finished ( or not) Friday

 Happy Last Friday before Christmas!! Did you know??? I know I knew, but..... I am not sure I realized.

I had plans to have a quilt Quilted for today... but I got sidetracked, and ... 

I was really going to play around with this one for a while, but I was having such fun..  I just decided to finish the top!

It is my Polka Dot Mask quilt!!  I am really thinking of hunting for a Polka Dot Backing for it.... Hmmmm....

Isn't this just fun and bright?

So? What were my distractions?  well, I live in the country, and some of our neighbors have been holed up for a while. They had had some medical things happen, and well, were lonely. Since I haven't been anywhere - and they have been at home for months - we thought it would be safe to go and chit chat from their patio. and it was SO much fun.  

The most fun about it? I had made a Purple Quilt, and she said something about Purple being her favorite color - so I decided to take it to her.

She was so tickled!!! and it was so fun to see the smile on her face! When we got ready to leave the husband  said.. I like Cowboy fabrics.... Oh man - that totally made my day!! I love it when people like what I like.... they are now my best friends 😍🥰

So.... I am thinking since Christmas is Next Friday - we will Skip FONF on the 25th - and pick back up on the First of January ... as in....   next year!!  Oh my!!

Polka Dot Mask Quilt Design Wall

 When the plague hit and we were all supposed to be making masks.... I struggled! I would find a box of fabric and think oh - I can make masks.... but it would be a much cuter quilt!  and then I would keep looking.

I found the cutest stack of fabrics and I thought - oh those would be colorful, happy masks..... but I procrastinated so long... I could finally make it into a quilt - yay me!!

and I like where it is going!!

I have more cut, and am stitching them up - each block measures 10 inches.. I think I am roughly going to 60 x 80 - so we will see how close I get. These are just bright happy Colors!! I love them!!

It might need a better name, but that is what I have been calling it in my head.....
