Week 3: 12 RED and
WHITE 4 patches and 12 BLUE and WHITE 4 patches;
Each 4 patch is 8 ½ inches unfinished
RED and WHITE 4 patches:
Cut 3 – wof 4 ½ inch strips
of your Red and of your White
Sew strips together lengthwise, and press to the Dark
sub cut into 24 - 4 ½ inch 2 patches. (Image B)
Pair the 2 patches together(Image C), alternating the colors
to make TWELVE 4 patch blocks
BLUE and WHITE 4 patches:
Cut
3 – wof 4 ½ inch strips of your Blue and of your White
Sew strips together
lengthwise, and press to the Dark
sub cut into 24 - 4 ½ inch 2 patches.
Pair the 2 patches together, alternating the colors to make
TWELVE 4 patch blocks (Image A)

This will give you 12 Blue and White 4 patches, and 12 Red and White Four patches.

This week's mystery clue is likely to come together quickly. I'm really liking how the quilt is coming together.
I'm catching up on the steps---will be a very nice quilt!
Hmmm...I might have to leave this step for the end. I think I need to make my white stars on red and blue first to see what scraps I have left for the four patches!
