Happy Friday!!
Remember the QOV's my group was making for the SC? Well!! they are quilted, and will be heading to the next person to get the binding on - so yay!! We should be able to get these to her in April for all her awards!! Whoot Whoot!!
Are you ready?
I used a different panto on each one of them - so there were a few difference - Two of them have red centered blocks... and one of them the borders go on the opposite sides.... they needed som differentian right???
I am excited to have these done, I fit them in , in between client quilts - so it always feels like a big check mark has been made on my to -do list when they are all done!!
I always tell myself that I do not have UFO's - but - I needed to pick up after my dogs and their tail wags hit a stack of blocks in my sewing area.
Guess what?
I had a UFO ( or 2)
and I had some PIGS ( or 2)
and I had some strings... I am now all sorted, and I got all the UFO's in the appropriate bucket so I can whittle them down.
I just need some Whittling time now ha!!!
I am glad the Dogs tail wagged, but I am sad that it wagged, it proved to me that I am not as organized as I think I am,.,. Oh boy!! I also changed out a quilt or tow - hoping to cause a rain ( or snow) - it didn't work....
Now it is all up to you!! What did you get finished this week? What did you get worked on?
Link up your direct post here!!!

I am so impressed with your beautiful QOV quilts. They're beautiful. Thank you for doing this. Blessings!
The QOVs look really good. You had a productive week, even if you found a few hidden UFOs.
Those are gorgeous, Alycia! It really does change up the look of those blocks when you use a blue square in the center compared to a red one. Happy Friday!
Those turned out beautifully. I'm hoping at our next meeting that we will have collected enough of those blocks to surround one or more of the panels we've been given.
That is the first time I have heard of PIGS. I had to look it up. Great job on the QOV finishes.
Fabulous quilts! I like how they are the same but different!
You certainly had a productive week!
Congratulations on getting them quilted; they look great!
We love a success story! they look great!
there will always be UFO's and planned bits, which is comforting. Your QOV are so so good, and will bring comfort to many. Maybe the prettiest I've seen. Your dogs are happy too, which means you're keeping the whole place going! Love, LeeAnna in Dry hot Colorado... in MARCH!
That's an interesting panel for the quilt...great borders for it. I'm with you about discovering treasures that were hidden in plain sight.
Hats off to you for getting OOV quilts quilted and moved to the the binders! You go girl!
Wow! It's wonderful what happens when quilters work together for a great cause! Lovely work!
I know what you mean about needing whittling time. Maybe we need more hours in the day. Hee! Hee! I love the layout of these QOV
These are really cool quilts. I love the red square ones more than the blue square one just because they look scrappier. Great job! ;^)
What a great finish. People sure are coming up with great ways to dress up a panel!
Hi Alycia, that is a lot of quilts finished (between clients!) Oops for those wagging tails and UFOs. Good luck!
