The weather has been so topsy turvy all over - does anyone know what season we are really in?
I got an email from a fellow QOV'er who has been QOV'ing since 2010... and she has decided to pursue other interests. But she wondered if my group would be interested in her stash.
Of course! What a stash she had!! We will have a lot of fun with it.
There were Quilt Kits, Yardage, panels, Quilt Binding (I feel like she made this binding just for me!!)
And the reds!! and there was a bin of whites/creams as well. Oh and some finished quilts! and a few ready to quilt - it was quite fun looking through it all!

Since we were in Wyoming... it was time to take the girls on a little trip too:
Then we made the stop at McDonalds- the girls do like a good burger haha!! They think they like this travel stuff.

It's sad to see Nancy move on from making QOV. She is the person who helped me get out group started here. But what a fun gift to your group. She knew you would make good use of it. We had spring, then winter came back, and looks like spring will be here again by the weekend.
Looks like you'll have lots of new stuff to make a few QOV's from. The girls look like they had a great time.

What a generous woman- keeping the quilts going! Love the outdoor shots. Mine would have snow in them and not the wide open nature you show.

Nancy has been a great contributor to QOV. I am so happy she has gifted you her stash... but sorry she isn't quilting any more. Or is it just the large QOV quilts. I'll have to check in with her to see how things are going. Have fun with that stash. And, wow! all that binding.
