Placemat Project

Orange was the color of September I think - and I made a few Orange placemats - but I am just now getting them quilted....

So two more done!

I took 32 of them to our Senior Center for them to use for Holiday lunches. So the big part of my project is over - I really wanted to have a little something bright for the Seniors.

But!! I also wanted my block box to get emptier - and it did.... but well, we all know that it really didn't get as empty as I wanted!! So I think I will need to come up with another plan with these blocks for next years Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!

Your orange placemats are pretty and bright! Good luck coming up with another project for the never-empty block box. :)

Seniors will love receiving the mats with special meals:the mats will brighten their day.

Pretty placemats. I totally understand how your box isn't getting empty. My scrap bins never seem to get any emptier no matter how much I use up.

That's wonderful, 32 placemats! They will be much appreciated I'm sure.

Orange might have been the September color, but it seems appropriate for October for them to be getting quilted up! :)

Why not keep making more placemats? They do wear out after all so an infusion of fresh ones a year from now would surely be welcomed . . .

Will that BROWN one be done in time to link to the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge??? Nice job on getting two more placemats quilted, Alycia!

What size do you make for your placemats, and would that size work for Meals on Wheels?

It's been fun seeing all your placemats come together this year. Sorry you didn't get the extra block box emptied, but at least you've kept it from running over.

You are cranking out those placemats. Great work! Thirty-two is a lot of placemats! And you bound them all! High Five!😊

Gosh, Alycia. I am sure they loved them and were all over you. Oh yes, 2022 will be here soon with RSC 2022.
