A while ago a friend of mine gave me this cute little I spy Quilt and said - Quilt it and donate it okay?
and I said Okay!
Then - a Client gave me a quilt and said I want the WHOLE thing Cross hatched - and I said Okay... and then I said... What???? You are not a pro at that....
and so ! I pulled this little I Spy out and I crosshatched the WHOLE thing .... just for practice you know...
and then I cross hatched my Clients quilt and I felt like I was a Pro then!! haha!
Here is the cute little I Spy:
So I will bind ( oh yes I will!) this quilt and get it donated!! Get someone snuggling in it!
and now!!
IT is your turn - Show me your Finishes!!!

Cross hatching was perfect for the little quilt, a great practice for the big one! Have a great weekend with lots of happy stitching and maybe quilt binding?
Great job!!! Now, how did you do it--panto, ruler, other?
You did it! What a nice job on bringing this top to life!
Hooray for "practice" quilts!!!
Your cross-hatching looks great! I haven't tried any straight lines except for basting the edges, and mine are very crooked. ;)
Cute quilt! But how do you do crosshatching on a longarm? That sounds like a lot of rolling and unrolling. But it turned out really well!
I Spy quilts can be fun for young and old and perfect to practice a quilting motif. Great job!
I LOVE that cross-hatching. You were at pro status after the first! LOL Don't think I could ever do a tumbler quilt, yikes! But yours is definitely great.
Great tumbler quilt! Good job at “becoming a pro”!
So smart to practice before working on a client quilt. Looks great!
Oh, such a sweet tumbler quilt to practice on! So glad you had it available so you could level up to Pro status. Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
Your cross hatching looks terrific. OOOH I like the tumbler border too. Neat quilt.
I can cross hatch on a domestic machine, but on the longarm??? Beautiful donation quilt, and I can't tell you were practicing. Looks perfect to me!!!
Looks great!! What size are the tumblers?
Hi Alycia, after cross-hatching one quilt, you are definitely a pro....and now that you've done 2, there is no stopping you :-) Have a great weekend and thanks for the link-up. Take care.
