Disappearing Shoo Fly Top

This was on my design wall.... and I really needed my design wall - so it gave me a little push!!

These blocks are just so fun!! They are the Disappearing Shoo Fly blocks from Missouri Star Quilt co. A lot of people sent us such great blocks - you will note - that only 4 blocks I made are in this quilt... so/// recognize your blocks??

A 4 x 5 setting made a 54 x 66 Inch Quilt, and then I added 5 inch borders.   So that should be a great Quilt of Valor size!!

So!! One thing is now off of my To-Do Tuesday lists!! and I can make another one haha!!

I checked out Missouri Star's youtube for the tutorial on the block the last time you mentioned it. It's a great block and makes a really great QOV!! My intention is to make one one of these days. Love yours.

Nothing like a bit of collaboration to make a beautiful top!

The top looks great! I have had that happen - need to get something off the design wall so something else can be put there. It is a motivator to get things done!

Looks great! The overall quilt reminds me a bit of firecrackers or fireworks for some reason. :)

What a fabulous quilt! I love the design. And it looks fabulous in the patriotic color scheme.

You mean you don't have at least three layers of ideas hanging up there? (on your design wall). I can't even see mine anymore.

Love the 'alien' monkeys!

It looks great, I like your border fabric to pull it all together.

Wow, that's a really cool block when it disappears! I love it when it's whole, but it has a magic of its own when sliced up! I will have to try that sometime...
