Its a Top!!!

I had a fun and interesting and quilty weekend - and with all the envelopes coming in my way - I was really inspired to start on the Flags for Sue Tops..... so  I did what any good quilter would do!

Gave the kids and the dad a list of chores and sent them to work.... while I did my *work*  !!

And here is the first top!!

It measures 64 x 84 - So I think it is just the right size!!

I have drawn up quite a few different designs - so I am excited to try the next one and see if I like it as well!

If you want to help make some Flags for Sue -

Its kinda an addicting block - and my 2 1/2 in strip pile is being used ;-)

That looks wonderful! I like how you used sashing to tie them all together, yet still having a variety of flags. I''m looking forward to seeing what other designs you have up your sleeve!

That is wonderful, Alycia! Thanks for making flag blocks all come together! I wonder how many quilts you'll be able to make.

This is such a great way to remember your friend. It's the perfect quilt. Did you receive enough blocks?
