Pink Plaid Sticks

Pink Plaid Sticks is a finish!! A complete and bound finish!

I decided that the backing should be fleece - and I had just the perfect piece of pink with white polka dots.  It was such fun - and I bound it in Hot pink with gold stars.

We headed outside to take a few photos and whoa! Could you see the skies turning black.

The skies set the colors off so well.
The one above is a little blurry - I got the giggles as wrangler man and sons were trying to
keep the quilt from flying

Here you go - a little better

and the back!   If you click on the photos and go really close up you can see the quilting. I used a panto from Dawnas Design Threads  called TEMPEST . It gave it wind like movement.  AND - do you want to know a secret???
I have a pantograph for sale at Dawna's Design Threads  - I do!!!

It's called Feathers a la mode. But a lot of truth in advertising here. The design was my concept - Dawna did a ton of work to make it a real design... she is quite talented !!  Go Check it out!

Lastly - this quilt is for sale in my Etsy store.Pink, Purple and Polar Fleece  Has been listed .

This project was one of my Qtr2 Finish a long projects

My first thought when I saw the very first photo was, oh, my! You have the same dark skies we do! But it's a beautiful quilt, too, and it drew away my attention as soon as the page finished loading!

Love your quilt, and your photos! The colors are really striking, the pink quilt against the grey sky and yellow-green field.
Congrats on having your panto design published!

WOW!! That IS a dark sky (and green grass and pink quilt!!). Are you sure you didn't photoshop a little? HA It does look so pretty against the backdrop.

This is so pretty! And I love how it looks against the dark sky. I know what you mean about wrangling that quilt. They turn into sails outside!

Your quilt is just beautiful set off on your background! Lucky you! And double that for having a published panto. Many good things have happened to you this week. Keep going, and thanks for linking up with Pink Doxies.

As long as those clouds aren't "snow clouds" -- they do set off the color of the quilt very well!!

The quilt is great. I just love the front and the quilting. The pantograph you designed is terrific. Who wouldn't want that on their quilt?
