For January - our color was Blue - and out of all the little 30's prints scraps I had made some little blocks.
They are now hot pads sitting on my kitchen counters. I didn't put hanging straps on them - because.... well I don't have any hooks to hang them!!
I used up leftover binding too !
The one below is double sided
That's because I got tired of making them, and I was afraid if I stopped I would have
another UFO - and lawsy mercy!! I DO NOT NEED one of those!
This is a still life....
just for you .....
Oh - Don't worry - I do still have yellow 30's prints for my Real RSC project.... I got those ironed - and that's it....

No yellow scraps! Whoohoo for you. Sounds like great progress to me to be out of something. Love the little hot pads. Such a great way to use crumb blocks.
Those are great! I got tired of making hotpads too, but I keep getting requests for them. I told a friend that I was not making anymore because I didn't want to be known as the hotpad - potholder gal. So what am I doing...making more. LOL.
Your still life is unique... it still has the grocery tabs on. Rembrant took his off first. LOL
Lots of work goes into pot holders. I'm always amazed how long things take to make. Good job using up your crumbs.
Hugs
You made good use of your blue scraps, love the pot holders.
Terrific way to use your scraps for the RSC!
Do you used a special batt for these?? Just wondered if you made these different sizes or all the same? I think this would be fun to make with the Grands, Free design , no mistakes.. Use a foundation fabric?
Hot pads are always a good idea!
