Ranch Day

We had the opportunity to host some kiddos out here, that didn't have a lot of experience on a ranch/horse place. It was really a blast. We rode horses, flew kites, let the kids to the barrel roll ( walking on the barrels) and threw frisbees.

And there was a little cake and ice cream involved - that's always the best part :-)

Wrangler Man even helped out ( he was a little worried as I was still sick). It was good to get outside and play, and talk to the moms and enjoy the sun.

This horse is Lucky - he is really tall and really old, and has been the best kids horse EVER!!  Leading him is Wrangler Man

This is Dixie - she is another bomb proof horse - and the little girls - and their mom -  just LOVED her.

it's fun to see how kids react to the bigger horses, and learn to work with them.

It was a fun day, and the kids had a great time. Didn't get any pictures of the barrel rolling - but in the other end of the arena the boys were trying to race and it was hilarious!!!

What a super, fun day for the kids...and you. Hope you didn't overdo it. :) Aren't horses like that priceless?! We had one like that for 28 years. I'll bet the kids that came out will be talking about it for a long time!
