This was my February/August RSC quilt! I got the color wrong the first time, but kept stitching, Then put it away, then pulled it back out again.... and now!!!
It is a finish!!!
I had a lot of fun using all the teals, and then Navy and white for the chain part. I was making it for me, but then a friend said they were getting married, and these are her favorites colors.... but when it was all done, my son said - Oh I'd like that one... so we are all up in the air as to where it will go!
The backing:
Just a Funny . I was looking for some crazy prints to make Ice cream Bowl cozies with, I pulled out a box, and now!! I don't want to put it back until it is empty. So I pulled this yardage out of the box for backing - and it works!!!
I looked back at all my RSC tops that I finished - I think I only have 2 to quilt... go me!!
It is now YOUR TURN!!!What all did you get to this week?

Fabulous! I can see why everyone wants to stake a claim on it!
The teals and navy are very pretty together. It is always hard to decide who will get a quilt if someone sees it and wants it!
Love your quilt. Sounds like you need to make two more.☺️ Your three stooges are adorable.
It turned out beautifully! I like the little pops of aqua in there for sparkle!
That's so pretty, Alycia! I love all the teals and combined with the Navy scraps, too. That backing is perfect for it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
It's a beauty and I can understand it's popularity! Maybe you just have to make two more in this colorway;)
That is a lovely quilt! love the colors!
I really like the teal/navy combination. Your quilting is great.
Fabulous finish for whoever get to have it. I have very little teal fabric however since your quilt is so lovely I may need more teal.
Well, it's a beautiful quilt and I hope that it isn't too hard to figure out its forever home!
What a wonderful finish! Where its forever home ends up, that will be one loved quilt! Those three. . .Shenanigans indeed!!! Although. . the vibe in the photo is . . .we are so good. . . see????
So pretty all in teal. Great finish! I finished a LOT of tops this year, but most are not quilted yet so the closet is getting full of tops folded over hangers. LOL
Aaw the 3 stooges- now how adorable are they. Which one is Moe? Hee! Hee! Your quilt looks amazing, Alycia. I love the color combinations and the quilting- just beautiful. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs.
I love it when someone speaks up and hints at wanting one of my quilts. It makes me feel so good.
I totally understand why everyone wants your teal quilt, Alycia!!! That is stunning!!!
Love your teal RSC quilt and love the backing fabric……nice find!
Beautiful quilt, and I love the quilting! What, only 2 RSC quilts to quilt?? Nice going!
Pretty quilt! I can see why everyone wants it! The teal and navy work so well together! Congratulations on your beautiful finish!
What a great looking quilt. Love the colors, too.
Oh, my word, the teal & navy turned out so great! And of course, everyone wants it, but I'm not sure you can tell your son he can't have it. LOL
That’s a beautiful quilt! I know what you mean about digging in a box, and then not wanting to stop. I did the same thing yesterday, and now I have four more projects in my head and in the works. The three stooges look ready for fun!
Love your teal quilt.
Very fun finish. I can see why it's so popular with so many. It's a good problem to have.
