Its that time of year where we start getting all the little knitted (or loomed) hats together for Operation Christmas Child boxes!!!
Believe it or not - I actually got some loomed!!
I have a group of friends that have started knitting for my OCC project - ( okay actually M's) and we made 150 hats for her.
Then!!! There is a Veterans Resource Center in Greeley that is awesome!! I had about 20 hats extra and they said they would LOVE them!!! So they went there.
Now it is time to start Looming again!
I got some really pretty Dark Brown yarn and thought I would start with that color - especially since it is the RSC color for October - I haven't gotten very far as I have help - and when the dogs take off with my yarn - its sort of a Mess!!
aren't they so cute tho? Oh!! My sons Three day project - it got extended because of the weather - so Poor baby is stuck with me... I think she loves me, but holee cow - she keeps looking for her boy every morning!
Everytime I post about looming - someone asks what I use - so here you go:

I'm so impressed with your hats...and your pretty girls! Do you have a favorite yarn that you like?
Those hats are so cute. Poor puppy looking for his Dad, but he sure looks like he is enjoying himself!
You and friends have been busy with the extraordinary collection of little hats. I am amazed at how you can get all 3 dogs to look so cutely at the camera.
What size yarn do you use Alycia? If you could sit straight through one hat how long does it take you?
Great job with the hats. Your pups are looking great. How did you get them all to look up at the same time and stay seated. You've got crazy dog photo skills!
Wow, that's a lot of hats!
Awesome hats and they will be so appreciated as the weather turns cold. The pups look happy don’t they?
Those looms sure crank 'em out faster than regular knitting! That's a lot of hats!
That is a lot of hats! They are going to two wonderful causes. Nice that you have such wonderful help. Those faces!!
What a great bunch of hats and a great bunch of dogs!!!
The dogs are so adorable - funny how they look for the missing person! Ours never got over our son's comings and goings when he went to college. I think I need to pick up one of those looms, so easy to keep the restless hands occupied and so many need them in the winter!
I bought a set of looms, then virtually did nothing with them. I wish I had kept them.
Seeing piles of hats is almost as nice as seeing a pile of quilts!
Wow, that's a lot of hats and I know will be so welcomed for the OCC project. I have to agree those doggies are certainly cuties, but sounds like they are as bad as cats with taking off with the yarn! LOL Have a great week, Alycia. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.
PS: I don't knit! Is looming difficult??? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL
