Happy Friday!!!
Are you ready for a time change? I don't know if I like it darker in the morning, or getting darker earlier in the evening. Either way - I don't like dark, and I can't convince the sun to stay out longer!! I wish I could - but we are getting shorter days of light each day....
So it was time to bring out a BRIGHT quilt and get it topped!! Bright colors sure do make dark better - right?
Bella... oh Bella - she sees the camera come out, and she gets all demure ... has to look away haha!!
That is my Finish for this week!! Who is all Dressed up for Halloween - which is also today? We have a Trick or treat thing in town that we are going to to hand out candy. No one comes to us. Which is probably good - I don't have to worry about gates being left open!!!
Share your Finished ( or not) Blog post with us!!! I love seeing what you are all up to.
and if anyone can help me find more time in the day... give me the *How tos!!*
I just realized the graphic I am using says 2024.... and 2026 is breathing down my back... Oops haha!!

Your pups are getting so good as quilt models! Great jelly roll quilt finish!!! And thanks for the reminder about Sunday!?! It slipped my mind...
I love the scrappy fabrics in that quilt, so pretty. Bella is just being one of those aloof models who gives you her profile. Have fun handing out candy!
What a gorgeous quilt! And cute dogs!
I'm not a big fan of this dark time of the year either, no matter whether it's in the morning or evening! I will miss the longer daylight. But I am a fan of your quilt to - I like how you combined the stars with the jelly roll blocks! Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!
I love your Jelly Roll 18 and stars quilt. The stars really add a wonderful accent.
Oh goodness, worrying about gates being left open would be stressful, so I'm glad you have an event to go to that you can hand out candy at instead. The quilt top looks great and I personally prefer it light in the evenings... ah well.
I've made that free design but the way you added in alternate blocks really spices it up - LOVE it and adding the puppies really makes it a happy post. No trick or treat at our house - we head to Young Man's as they live in a neighborhood hit by every child living downtown and it's an all hands on deck situation.
What a great finish! The girls are a bonus to the photo!
when did you get 3 dogs? missed that! Your quilt is just lovely, that mix of blocks and color
Bella knows she has a beautiful profile. LOL That is a gorgeous quilt. And I feel the same as you about the dark.
I love your bright flimsy finish! I too like the light. I'm never ready for this time change and I'm already looking forward to when we will have longer days!
