He learned about wonky fabric.... we got these spiderman panels and NONE of them were square. So he had quite a challenge.
And of course - I can't find any of the photos of him working on it - but here is it loaded on the Longarm.
He chose to use fleece for the back.. ( I may steal it, it is snuggly)
And then he had to bind it.
Talk about a chore - that fleece made it really thick.
I think we should have cut the binding wider!
Here he is at the Fair with it.
Check out that plaque... that is his!!!
And he has a little Bling to bring home!!
Needless to say - he was a happy camper!!!

He looks like a very happy camper! And I bet there is one proud mamma standing near by too :) Great quilt! Congrats to him and good luck at the state fair!
Congratulations to your Middle Son on his winning quilt! Great job!!!
Ahhh happiness like that is a glorious moment. You're raising wonderful young men. They do you proud!
That's pretty cool! Did you enter a quilt?
Congratulations to "Middle Bit" (I don't know his name). His quilt is great and I love his quilting. Is this a panto he followed or is it free motion. I think it would be great on a QOV. Your sons are all so talented. Gotta love it!
Wonderful Quilt and Quilting and Quilter! Finally someone else has noticed the fact and bestowed the credits. Way to go, KC.
Hugs
Kudos to the middle son for his fantastic quilt! I cannot think of a better backing than the fleece he chose..it is a perfect combo of the top and back.
How awesome is that? Congratulations!
Y'all sure have a nice place to display your exhibits. Our county fair is this week too and our exhibits are set up in a draft barn with no lights. :)
Bravo to middle bit! Lots to be proud of!
Yeah for him. That is fantastic.
Congrats on the grand champion award! That's definitely pretty cool.
