But on a good note - we have a great community - and lots of us spent the majority of the weekend doing clean up. And salvaging, and realizing how blessed we are.....
And then - I ran home- took a shower - and headed to our Quilt of Valor sew day. I was so tickled that so many showed up - because you all... it is NOT easy to get to town....
We put together 6 tops from the BLOCK DRIVE - and had a grand old time! It was actually quite relaxing after our weekend!!

Sorry for everything you and your friends and neighbors are going through right now. I can't wait to see photos of the quilts from the block drive all put together!

Glad you came through the flood ok. Those QOV blocks look good and I'm anxious to see how you arrange more. I plan to get my 20 blocks on their way to you this week.
It's wonderful to see a community pull together and help one another. The QOV blocks are really going great! Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the finished ones.
