And the Captain fell overboard

As with all families a tight ship must be run to keep everyone in the right place at the right time, and food on the table..... and the captain of our ship has fallen overboard....

Tuesday I was working away and I started to not feel good, so I told the boys I was going to go lay down on the couch for 20 minutes... next thing I know my oldest son is saying hey mom - thought you guys had horse judging tonite..... and then he looked at me and said - but you are NOT going, and he proceeded to make dinner for him and his brothers and they did the chores, and its 6 days later and.... I may make it.

There is light at the end of the tunnel - but missing a whole week kind of sucks.. and I am still honestly not 100% - maybe 15%.  So if its quiet out here on the homefront please forgive me.  I will catch up - I know I will, but if I don't I may toss the list and start over LOL

And if something creeps up on you like this - RUN!!!!

Sadly, something similar has struck me. I have no voice to go with it. Fortunately, I only have a husband who might need something and he is quite capable. Hope you start feeling better soon. I am on day 5 and have had some moments of relief. =0/

Three weeks of Feb. and 1st week of March were pretty much lost for me when I came down with shingles. Hope you feel up to snuff long before that long.

Wow! You really got a slam-dunk!! Your boys are wonderful, so let them help as much as possible and you rest....rest heals the body, you know! Everything will still be there when you feel better....except, of course, what the boys are taking care of....bless their hearts!!
