Greek Key Finish!!!! and Finished (or not) Friday!!

I hope your week has been so productive!!!  I have had a good one, and I hope the momentum keeps right on going!!!

My finish for this week is my Greek Key top - it is all plaid... with Eagles for the borders - and you know what?

I LOVE IT!!!

The weather was super nice and super calm all day - and I couldn't wait to get out and take photos. Now the kids are gone, but the Husband is working from home... so I bribed him into.... taking photos!  But as soon as we opened the door to go out - the wind started blowing - can you believe it!!

We had to go hide in front of the barn - and it was all okay - but I wanted to take this photo in front of a tree....

A Close up of the quilting....

And a gratuitous Mountain show - just because - we all need a little Peace in our Lives...
PS - I don't know who that guy is in the photo - but I forgot to crop him out - so now he will be forever famous!!

And now it is your turn!!

Greek Key turned out lovely, great job! Are you keeping it for yourself or gifting it? Happy stitching!

I love it too! Congrats on finishing up that beauty!
And I think we have the same wind here that starts blowing the minute I walk out the door with a quilt and camera.

Great finish--I like the pops of less than traditional colors in this quilt!

You should love it. It's wonderful!

Beautiful finish in the sunshine! And yeah, even a very light breeze keeps a quilt moving. I like that the guy showed up in your photo. It's the perfect "time stamp" for this year.

Beautiful quilt finish! Of course the wind didn't cooperate - weather is just that way. We had a chance of rain for today so we brought in all the patio chair cushions and now the weather says no rain. If we had just left the darn things out there we would have gotten some much needed rain. Dang it.

Hi Alycia! I just LOVE this quilt finish. Each time I see it, it reminds me that I want to make a version of my own. Not to mention the mystery QOV blocks. I do want to make that when all the clues are revealed so that I can pick out appropriate fabrics. Thanks for the linky party today! I am thrilled to finally have a finish to share. ~smile~ Roseanne

I LOVE that quilt. The quilting could represent that wind. :-) I know there were some pics before, but is there a pattern for greek key. I'd love to do one.
Thanks
Karol

Congrats on a finish - I love the plaid! An unexpected place to find it, but so cool! I totally relate to the wind always showing up in time to take photos of quilts. My first visit to your blog and I have to say that I love the churn dash quilt in your header! Thanks for sharing.
